Centricity Music has welcomed new talent to its artist roster, with worship band For All Seasons signing publishing and record deals with the label. Hailing from Southern California, the band comes to Centricity after 10 years of making music together, impacting listeners as worship leaders and songwriters. Band members include Emily Hamilton, Johnny Hamilton, Randy Charlson, and Jeff Luckey.
The Academy of Country Music announced today additional performers to join this year's stellar lineup for the 52ND ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®. The newly added performers include Lauren Daigle, Faith Hill, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. The ACM Awards, co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, will broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 2 (live 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Award-winning singer/songwriter LAUREN DAIGLE, will release her first-ever Christmas album titled BEHOLD, on October 21 via Centricity Music. Produced by Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram, the style of the holiday album will pay homage to the sounds of Lauren’s hometown of New Orleans. Featuring soft jazz renditions of Christmas favorites, BEHOLD will include such classics as “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “What Child Is This,” “O Holy Night,” and more; in addition to an original composition titled “Light of the World”, which was written by Paul Mabury and Paul Duncan. Pre-orders for the album will begin on September 23.
One of Christian music’s premiere singer/songwriters, Jason Gray, is scheduled to release his new studio album, Where The Light Gets In, June 17th. Gray worked with nine high-profile producers on the project, including Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher), Ben Glover (MercyMe, for KING & COUNTRY) and Colby Wedgeworth (Jordan Feliz, Lincoln Brewster). Where The Light Gets In features 12 new songs plus his Top 15 single from 2015, “Glow In The Dark.” The first single, “Sparrows,” is going for adds at radio on April 1st and already has airplay at two key outlets, K-LOVE and WFRN/South Bend, IN. The full album presents a more hope-centered message than Gray’s last three albums and shows God’s redemptive presence even in the midst of difficulties.
Centricity Music will be releasing the Deluxe Edition of Lauren Daigle’s debut album titled HOW CAN IT BE DELUXE EDITION on May 6. She will also embark on the Hillsong UNITED Empires tour beginning April 28 in Baltimore Maryland. Lauren, who has reigned the top of the charts since HOW CAN IT BE was originally released last year, received her first GRAMMY® nomination for “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album” at the 58th GRAMMY® Awards. HOW CAN IT BE debuted in the Top 30 on the Billboard 200, and going into the GRAMMYs last week, the album went #1 for the fourth time in six weeks on Billboard’s Top Christian Chart (five weeks at #1 overall). Her current single, “Trust In You,” is also a Top 10 hit on the NCA chart.
Multiple Dove Award-winning artist, Aaron Shust, has just released a three-song EP, Ever Be, that will be available at online music outlets only. The title track is the first single and is already No. 31 on Billboard’s National Christian Audience Chart and has early adds at K-LOVE and Sirius XM. The song was produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman) and was written by Bethel Music. Cash also produced “Fear Not,” while Christian Paschall (Crowder) produced “God Evermore.” The latter song is the only tune co-written by Shust, along with Paul Baloche and Fanny Crosby.
